Introduction

Rubik Solver ("the app") is operated by Bagging ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

Information we collect

Rubik Solver is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal, anonymized usage data to improve the app.

Analytics data

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used overall. This includes:

• App usage — how often the app is opened, which screens are viewed
• Feature usage — which features are used (scramble, solve, 2D/3D view, manual input)
• Performance data — crashes, errors, and performance metrics
• Device information — device type, OS version, app version (anonymized)

This data is anonymized and aggregated. We cannot identify individual users from it.

What we do NOT collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Your cube configurations or solutions
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Anything that can personally identify you

Local data storage

All cube configurations and solving data are stored locally on your device — current cube state, solution steps, and preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-party services

• Firebase Analytics — anonymized usage analytics. Processed per Google's privacy policy; see Google's Privacy Policy.
• Flutter — open-source UI framework (no data collection)
• cuber — local cube-solving algorithms (no data collection)
• flutter_scene — local 3D rendering (no data collection)

App permissions

Rubik Solver requires minimal permissions: internet access, used for anonymized analytics and app updates via the app stores. We do not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files.

Children's privacy

Rubik Solver is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 — since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this isn't a practical concern.

Your choices

You can disable analytics-relevant collection by removing the app. All cube data is local and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
